EVENT DETAILS:

While the event is at the Bulldogs’ favorite baseball stadium—affectionately called the Carnegie Hall of College Baseball—fans should note the venue will observe different rules for the concert than for regular sporting events. The university’s clear bag policy will be in effect, and no outside food or drink is allowed. No coolers or chairs may be brought into the event, and metal detectors will be in use at entry points. There will be no use of lockers or Left Field Lounge for the concert.

The concert is expected to proceed, rain or shine. Attendees should review weather forecasts for Sept. 12 and plan accordingly. In the event of inclement weather, event organizers will post information to the concert website HailState.com/Hardy regarding concert activities.

All campus visitors are encouraged to sign up for the university’s Maroon Alert notification system. Text Maroon Alert to 888777 to enroll in the messaging system.

Attendees who have concourse or suite tickets should use the Home Plate Gate or Right Field Gate for entry. Attendees who have field tickets will need to enter the stadium on the Northwest side by passing the Home Plate Gate and following signs to the field access near the left field entrance. There is no field access from inside the main concourse gates.

Concert attendees can text 662-667-8012 during the show for assistance.

Prepaid digital parking permits for lots surrounding the stadium may be purchased beginning Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. at HailState.com/Hardy, which also includes traffic maps for ingress and egress. Attendees are encouraged to purchase parking permits prior to the show to reduce wait time.

For accommodations, please contact the MSU ticket office at tickets@athletics.msstate.edu. Information regarding accommodations has been sent via email to  accommodation ticket holders.

CONCERT DAY CAMPUS LOGISITICS:

Parking lots near Dudy Noble Field will be closed starting at noon on Sept. 12 and some lots will close sooner to accommodate concert operations. Please allow enough travel time, and refer to the concert parking map at HailState.com/Hardy. Parking attendants will help with traffic operations after the show.

SMART shuttle routes will not be impacted but may take more time with increased traffic in the area.

A home soccer game versus Abilene Christian gives Bulldogs a chance to cheer their nationally ranked team before the concert that same day with the team hitting the pitch for a 3 p.m. matchup. State fans can tune their vocal cords before welcoming HARDY, Randy Houser, Travis Denning and Ella Langley to USA Today’s Best Small Town in the South.
