STARKVILLE, Miss.—Who says attending summer school means missing out on summer fun? With Mississippi State’s 2023 edition of Summer Advantage, there is plenty of action for scholars at every level.
Students can explore new interests, engage with faculty and students in smaller classes, catch up on major or minor requirements or forge ahead with a new emphasis. And with courses available in-person and online, there's no obstacle to advancing one’s academic and professional interests.
“Summer is a season for learning and growth at Mississippi State,” said MSU President Mark E. Keenum. “MSU Summer Advantage considers the needs of all students by offering a wide variety of courses and study options that allow them to earn credits, take a refresher course, acquire new skills, even study abroad. Whatever the academic goal, MSU can help students achieve it.”
By enrolling in Summer Advantage, students can take as much as an entire semester over three summer sessions, starting with Maymester from May 16-June 1, first term from June 2-30, and second term from July 6-Aug. 4. A 10-week term from June 2-Aug. 4 is also available.
