Congressman Guest meets with students from Mississippi State, Michigan State University

Washington, D.C.  – On July 21, Congressman Michael Guest (MS-03) and Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin (MI-08) spoke to students from Mississippi State University and Michigan State University about their experiences in Congress and their thoughts on solutions to national issues.

The students are visiting Washington, D.C., for 12 weeks to study policy related to the country’s natural resources through a joint program offered by Mississippi State and Michigan State Universities. During their stay, the students work with various federal agencies, for members or committees in Congress, or with non-government organizations. The students range in age from college juniors to graduate students.
