MSU receives additional COVID-19 vaccine doses

STARKVILLE, Miss.—Mississippi State University is receiving additional COVID-19 vaccines for MSU employees and students. Schedule vaccines now by visiting: https://covidvaccine.msstate.edu/. These appointments will take place at the Humphrey Coliseum on campus. Students and employees should bring their ID and appointment confirmation when arriving. 

The university will be offering 1,170 appointments for the Pfizer vaccine and 300 appointments for the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine. The Janssen vaccine only requires one dose. Students who will not be in Starkville the last week of April should consider taking this vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine requires a second dose to reach maximum protection. The second dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be offered the week of April 26 and May 3.
