Vice President for DAFVM Candidate One announced
Mississippi State University and the Search Committee for the Vice President for the Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine invite interested members of the campus community to attend public presentations by each finalist.
Candidate One: Dr. Keith Coble, Monday, January 25, at 8:30 a.m.

Dr. Keith Coble currently serves as Special Assistant to the Vice President and head of the Department of Agricultural Economics. He was named a W.L. Giles Distinguished Professor in 2009 and held a three-way teaching/research/extension appointment before becoming an administrator. He has taught at Mississippi State for 21 years. He has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Southern Agricultural Economics Association, among other honors. He also spent part of 2013 and 2014 working for the U.S. Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee.
Dr. Coble completed his doctoral work at Texas A&M University in agricultural economics. He completed bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agricultural education at the University of Missouri.
