The Career Center Executive Director search committee is inviting MSU faculty and staff to attend the presentations of the two candidates who will interview for this position. The candidates' CVs and evaluation forms will be posted at https://www.career.msstate.edu/news/2020/03/career-center-executive-director-candidates-announced-open-forums as soon as possible.
Our first candidate, Dr. Mark McCloud, will interview and will give his presentation on Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. in Taylor Auditorium in McCool Hall. For those unable to join us face-to-face, you can also join us via WebEx at https://msstate.webex.com/msstate/j.php?MTID=m2439c6f96df6ee64ae0cf42f0a8a6bd4.
Our second candidate, Ms. Jan Moppert, will interview and give her presentation on Friday, Dec. 11, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., also in the Taylor Auditorium. The link for her WebEx meeting is https://msstate.webex.com/msstate/j.php?MTID=m2a8bfe1c13c53ff1424b468222e9f72e.
Physical distancing will be observed and face masks are required for these meetings. There should plenty of room in the auditorium, so you are encouraged to attend in person. For those unable to attend in person or view the meeting in real time, the presentations will be recorded and posted on the web page above.
Each candidate has been asked to provide a 30-minute presentation on the topic "Future Directions of Career Services in Higher Education: Serving the Campus Community, Alumni, and Employers". We will have a 30-minute question-and-answer period following the presentation, and those participating via WebEx will be able to submit questions via chat.
Please join us for these presentations and then provide the committee with your feedback. Candidate evaluation forms will be available in the auditorium and also posted online.
