Volunteers sought for MSU Big Event on April 4
Taking place April 4, the MSU Big Event is an opportunity for MSU students, faculty, staff, and Starkville residents to serve alongside each other and leave their mark on the local community.
There is no cost to participate, but volunteers and groups must pre-register online. Registration opens Feb. 19 and can be completed by clicking here.
Only Site Leaders must check-in on April 4 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Barnes & Noble back patio to collect their volunteers' T-shirts and SL instruction packet. Site Leaders will meet at the volunteer site for which they have signed up and will check volunteers in and provide instructions.
MSU students, faculty and staff should bring their MSU I.D. to the volunteer site. Those not affiliated with MSU are asked to bring any form of photo I.D. All volunteers are expected to be at their community service locations by 10 a.m.
Those signing up on the day of the event can do so at the Barnes & Noble back patio.
Breakfast and lunch items will be available to volunteers on a first-come, first-served basis. Breakfast will be available from 8-10 a.m.; lunch, 11 a.m.-noon.
