Denim Day to raise violence, sex assault awareness

Denim Day to raise violence, sex assault awareness

As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, MSU Denim Day will take place on the Drill Field from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday [April 29], and everyone is encouraged to wear denim. (In case of rain, Denim Day will be held on the first floor of Colvard Student Union.)

The first 130 people to donate a pair of jeans will receive a free t-shirt. All of the jeans collected will be donated to Safe Haven, Inc., a local shelter for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

The Department of Health Education and Wellness is sponsoring MSU Denim Day.
