Miguel, a Mississippi State University Police K9, celebrates his 11th birthday alongside family and friends on the patio of MSU's YMCA building. The happy German Shepard enjoyed lots of pats, fun with tennis balls and dog-friendly peanut butter cupcakes. Miguel has been serving the MSU Police Department since 2014 and plays a vital role in keeping the community safe by performing precautionary explosive detection sweeps prior to large functions at the university.
