A 2022 Fall Convocation program is pictured as freshmen and new transfer students listen to words of advice as they launch the academic year. The students also received a commemorative coin and enjoyed Mississippi State ice cream Tuesday [Aug. 23] after hearing from featured speaker Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning Commissioner Al Rankins Jr., as well as MSU President Mark E. Keenum and Provost David Shaw. The program marked the return of Convocation after two years of hiatus due to the pandemic.
