It is World Bee Day and students from Henderson Ward Elementary were abuzz over beehives when MSU Extension and Research Professor Jeff Harris demonstrated beekeeping at the Mississippi State Insect Fair. The fair teaches students about invasive species, pollinator habitats, aquatic insects, insect rearing and more. The Mississippi State Insect Fair is an outreach component of Mississippi Bug Blues, a Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station educational program.
