A recent student project in the College of Architecture, Art and Design teamed interdisciplinary students from the School of Architecture and the Building Construction Science program to design affordable housing plans to be used by the Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity. The collaborative studio project, which incorporates budget and time constraints, gives students a "real-world" sense of professional design work and prepares them for teamwork with other professionals in their future careers.
