New Growth

SOSD-MSU Partnership Middle School sixth grade students Moak Vinson, Cameron Bush and Tyrell Allen-Stokes examine the plants in the school's expansive outdoor learning gardens. The students are part of the GrOW (Gardening and Overall Welness) classroom, an initiative funded through a grant from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation to teach an agriculturally based health and nutrition curriculum through hands-on learning.
