MSU alum Landon Casey, a 2019 computer engineering graduate from Spring, Texas, helps participants install components during a guitar-building workshop held at the Idea Shop in Downtown Starkville. Hosted by MSU's Center for Entrepreneurship and Outreach, the workshop includes nine junior and senior high school students learning about basic woodworking, electronics, soldering and music performance. The three-week program sponsored by Gibson Brands, Inc. and International Paper will culminate with a Nov. 12 public concert at MSU’s Cadence Bank Plaza.
