MSU Associate Professor of History Jim Giesen gets ready, with the help of two students, to slingshot a "Making History in the Hump" T-shirt into the stands of Humphrey Coliseum during his modern U.S. history class. The Hump is one of many non-traditional classroom spaces being used for in-person instruction this semester to ensure proper social distancing. Units from across campus worked for months to ensure MSU's traditional and non-traditional classroom spaces would be ready for the fall semester.
