Teaching Black History
In celebration of Black History Month, Mississippi State's African American Studies Program and Department of Sociology recently sponsored a panel discussion on the importance of black history education. Event panelists include (l-r) Qiana Cutts, MSU assistant professor of counseling, educational psychology and foundations; Tiffany Pogue, assistant professor of teacher education and program coordinator of foundations of education and graduate programs at Albany State University; and Margaret Hagerman, MSU assistant professor of sociology.
