Michael Durant, the U.S. Army veteran and former Black Hawk pilot who inspired the movie Black Hawk Down, gives his speech titled "In the Company of Heroes" Thursday [April 4] at Mississippi State's Insurance Day. Hosted by the MSU College of Business' Risk Management and Insurance Program, Insurance Day attracts hundreds of professionals for a two-day conference with industry leaders that focuses on current issues in the field. Durant, who also is a best-selling author, is the keynote speaker for the 2019 conference.
