Mississippi State center fielder Jake Mangum, a junior from Pearl, celebrates a home run during the Bulldogs’ 8-1 victory over the University of Oklahoma on Monday. That win clinched the Tallahassee Regional championship for MSU, marking the third consecutive year MSU has advanced to the Super Regionals. The Bulldogs now travel to Nashville to face Vanderbilt University in a best-of-three series. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday [June 8] and game one will be nationally televised on ESPN2.
