Sebastián Suki Beláustegui, an Argentinian photographer recognized internationally for combining his art with humanitarian efforts, spoke Wednesday [March 8] at Mississippi State University. His presentation, "A Photographer's Journey into the Discovery of Forgotten Histories and Cultures," spotlighted some of Beláustegui's efforts to document cultural diversity, specifically among minority communities and tribes. His visit was supported by the College of Arts and Sciences’ Institute for the Humanities and the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures, along with the College of Architecture, Art and Design’s Department of Art.
