Hui Tag, a visiting scientist from Rajiv Gandhi University in India, works in MSU's Environmental Plant Physiology Laboratory. In collaboration with K. Raja Reddy, MSU research professor in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences, Tag hopes to yield valuable information on physiology, phytochemistry and biochemistry of the "Gotu Kola" plant (Centella asiatica), which is widely used for medicinal purposes in China, India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
