The residential academic camp provides children age 10 and up with an introduction to beekeeping equipment and techniques. At the camp's conclusion, participants can receive assistance in setting up their own beehives. Camp sponsors include the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and its Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Entomology and Plant Pathology, as well as the MSU Extension Service.
