Sami Steigmann, who spent three years as a toddler in a Nazi labor camp in Ukraine, spoke Wednesday [March 23] in Lee Hall's Bettersworth Auditorium about how being a Holocaust survivor has shaped his life. Now a resident of New York, he started sharing his story publicly in 2008. Hillel, the Jewish student organization at Mississippi State, sponsored the event.
