Mississippi State’s Department of Landscape Architecture is hosting the 40th annual National Collegiate Landscape Competition through Saturday [March 19] on the Starkville campus. More than 750 students enrolled in landscape contracting and management and interior and exterior horticulture programs at two- and four-year colleges and universities across the country are participating in a variety of competitive landscaping activities, such as interior plant identification. This year’s event also includes a networking fair, where students have the opportunity to discuss career opportunities with landscape industry professionals from more than 70 companies.
