Holmes 50th Anniversary
On Sunday, July 19, MSU marked the 50th anniversary of one of the most important milestones in university history when Dr. Richard E. Holmes became the first African American to enroll as a student. A reception in Holmes' honor was held to mark the anniversary. MSU President Mark E. Keenum, left, and MSU Vice President for Student Affairs Regina Y.
