Crepe myrtles bloom in front of Giles Hall, where the university's School of Architecture and the dean's office for the College of Art, Architecture and Design are housed. With first term summer classes wrapping up this week, students and faculty are working toward a long weekend. The university will be closed Friday in observance of Independence Day. The second term of summer classes begins next week.
