Students from Partnership Middle School's GROW (gardening and overall wellness) classroom work with MSU Forestry Assistant Professor Joshua Granger and Extension Associate Marc Measells to plant trees at the school on Thursday [March 11]. The tree planting was originally scheduled for Arbor Day, but was delayed due to winter weather. The GROW classes are part of a $900,000 SOSD grant from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation to promote health and wellness. Click here for more pictures from the tree planting.
